Product Details
Square 100mm x 100mm, 6mm thick heavy plate with a 19mm adjustable pin. Four 10mm screw holes for secure fixing when hanging heavy gates.
It can be fixed to the face of a post or pillar or placed between two posts or pillars, and is generally used in conjunction with an adjustable base fitting and a double-strap hinge. It can be used with other types of hinges that are suited to a 19mm pin.
"Hot-dip" galvanised for high corrosion resistance.
Allows for horizontal adjustment of the gate position when attached to the face of a post or pillar, and helps account for posts that are out of plumb. If attached between posts or pillars, they can be adjusted at a later date to raise your gates if they have dropped.
Usually fitted to timber posts (with coach screws) but can also be fitted directly to brickwork (with the use of masonry fixings)
