Bottom double strap band, 88mm long, made from strong steel, 6mm thick, "hot-dip" galvanised for high corrosion resistance, and with a 20mm eye for a 19mm pin.
Easy to install with the M10 galvanised bolt and screws supplied. For a secure fixing on heavy gates, the bolt goes through the timber gate to clasp both sides of the hinge.
Commonly used with English gates, but can be used with any timber gates 70mm thick.
Comprising two straps, the 88mm strap hinge wraps around the base of the gate, while a longer strap hinge, typically 450mm or 600mm in length, depending on the gate's length, is used at the top of the gate, with the gate sitting within the hinges.
