Square 100mm x 100mm, 6mm thick heavy plate with a 19mm adjustable pin. Four 10mm screw holes for secure fixing when hanging heavy gates.
- It can be fixed to the face of a post or pillar or placed between two posts or pillars, and is generally used in conjunction with an adjustable base fitting and a double-strap hinge. It can be used with other types of hinges that are suited to a 19mm pin.
- "Hot-dip" galvanised for high corrosion resistance.
- Allows for vertical adjustment of the gate position when attached to the face of a post or pillar, helping to account for posts that are not plumb. If attached between posts or pillars, they can be adjusted at a later date to raise your gates if they have dropped.
- Usually fitted to timber posts (with coach screws), but can also be fitted directly to brickwork (with the use of masonry fixings)
