Narrow 200mm x 50mm, 10mm thick extra heavy back plate with a 19mm pin. Two 14mm screw holes for secure fixing when hanging heavy gates.
- The narrow plate is ideal for installation on timber wall plates and for drilling into solid posts or pillars, providing sufficient distance from the edge to prevent splitting concrete, or in any situation where a narrow plate is required.
- "Hot-dip" galvanised for high corrosion resistance.
- It can be fixed to the face of a post or pillar or placed between two posts or pillars, and is generally used with an adjustable base fitting and a double-strap hinge. It can also be used with other types of hinges adapted for a 19mm pin.
- Usually fitted to timber posts (with coach screws), but can also be fitted directly to brickwork (with the use of masonry fixings)
