Adjustable base fittings for 70 mm-thick English gates.
Easy to install, this set consists of a 19mm diameter steel rod 250mm long, with a 20mm hanging eye at one end for a 19mm hook, two cleats, and two nuts. The eye can be hung on a hook with a plate, a hook to drive, a hook to bolt through, or a hook to screw, all with a 19mm diameter; it's your choice.
Adjusting the nuts will enable the installer to raise or lower the opposite end of the gate. This is ideal when installing a gate, as positioning is made easier, and is particularly useful when installing a two-leaf gate. Additionally, if gate dropping occurs over time, the gate can be raised.
This adjustable base set is made of strong steel, hot-dip galvanised for high corrosion resistance and is ideal for use with heavy English gates of any length.
When installing, a 19mm hole needs to be drilled through the base of the stile.
