Square 100mm x 100mm, 6mm thick heavy plate with a 19mm pin. Four 10mm screw holes for secure fixing when hanging heavy gates.
"Hot-dip" galvanised for high corrosion resistance.
It can be fixed to the face of a post or pillar or placed between two posts or pillars, and is generally used with an adjustable base fitting and a double-strap hinge. It can also be used with other types of hinges adapted for a 19mm pin.
Usually fitted to timber posts (with coach screws) but can also be fitted directly to brickwork (with the use of masonry fixings)
