Product Details
Oak Gate Post with a pointed top and smooth planed finish.
- Suitable for installation with all our gates.
- Wear gloves when handling timber.
- Avoid inhalation of sawdust.
- We recommend that posts be set in concrete approximately one-third of their total length, with gravel placed at the base to allow water to drain.
- Ground conditions vary, including different levels and structures; this can influence the final installation depth, which you or your installer must determine.
- We recommend a depth of 700mm for hanging all lengths of our midsummer gates. On level ground, 2m posts are sufficient, allowing 1m30 above ground to accommodate the 1m20 height of the gates and various latches.
- Tears, cracks, or fissures along the grain are a natural part of large oak pieces. This is a natural and characteristic process.
- This is a heavy product.
- Approximately 40 kg or more; there can be variations either way.
