• For gates opening into raised ground
• Hinge set galvanised 600mm. At 90°, the end of the gate will have risen approximately 75mm per metre length of the gate, so a 3.00m gate will have been raised at the furthest point from its hanging end by approximately 225mm. Additionally, the gate automatically returns to its closed position due to gravity. This is due to the hinge's pivoting axis, relative to the gate's centre of gravity.
• The plates are installed on the face or rear of the post or pillar. This will enable the gate to open towards or away from the operator, depending on which side it is opened. If there are no obstructions, the gate will swing open a full 180°. This applies to both single- and double-gated systems.
