• For gates opening into raised ground and hanging inside the posts
• Galvanised 600mm hinge set designed for situations with rising ground and for the gate to open both ways. For timber posts only
• When opening, the end of the gate opposite the hinge will lift approximately 75mm per metre of the gate's length at a 90° angle. Therefore, a gate of 3.00m would, at the opposite end of its hinge, rise approximately 225mm when open at 90°. The pinion plate and top hook to bolt must be positioned centrally on the inside of the post, allowing the gate or gates to open both ways. The gate will open approximately 110° to the post, depending on its depth and the absence of obstructions. Additionally, the gate automatically returns to its closed position due to the force of gravity. The post must be at least 135mm x 135mm.

• Special latches are required for the two-way opening. We suggest a Mortice latch, a Shoot bolt, a 300mm large spring bolt, or a central closing spring latch for a single gate or a fastener set for double gates.
• Coach screws are supplied for fitting to timber posts or timber wall plates. To accommodate the strap hinge to the top of the gate, a 10mm drill bit is needed, and to fit the bottom rocker hinge and pinion plate, bolts and screws are supplied.
