Also known as a garage door bolt, ground bolts.
These bolts are ideal for securing gates and doors in both open and closed positions. They are suitable for heavy domestic, agricultural, and industrial gates or doors in both exterior and interior applications.
The drop depth can be adjusted by placing the top holding plate higher or lower on the gate, making them ideal for doors and gates with a large base gap. They can be installed vertically or horizontally and are supplied with a retaining sleeve.
We suggest laying the gate or door flat when installing the bolt; this makes it considerably easier to align each retaining plate, especially on the 600mm length.
Screws are not supplied.
"Hot-dip" galvanised for durable corrosion resistance.
We recommend utilising an extra-long receiver if two bolts are employed to install a pair of gates. (see below) or our closing sets for wooden gates.
