This automatic gate latch is simple to install and comes in a galvanised finish, zinc-plated finish, or black polymer-coated finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. The latch automatically engages to secure the gate or door shut and is supplied with a spring and cord set for operation from both sides. It is suitable for general use on both internal and external applications and can be padlocked for added security.

This latch has numerous applications, including gates, doors, and chicken coops. It is also ideal for securing your garden or yard, as well as for various other applications. A padlock can be attached.
It can be operated from either side by simply attaching the 40cm-long cord to the latch arm with the supplied grommet (see photo) and feeding it through the post or frame. Pull the wire to release the latch.
