This automatic gate latch is simple to install and comes in a galvanised, zinc-plated, or black polymer-coated finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. The latch automatically engages to secure the gate or door shut and is supplied with a spring-and-cord set for operation from both sides. It is suitable for general use on both internal and external applications and can be padlocked for added security.
- Easy to install; all you need is a cordless drill/driver and some screws.
- This latch has numerous applications, including gates, doors, and chicken coops. It is also ideal for securing your garden or yard, as well as for various other applications. A padlock can be attached.
- It can be operated from either side by simply attaching the 40 cm-long cord to the latch arm using the supplied grommet (see photo) and feeding it through the post or frame. Pull the wire to release the latch.
