PREMIUM QUALITY BLACK: This double-layer product is made from solid steel, features a galvanised base finish, and is coated with black polymer. This combination yields exceptionally high corrosion resistance in the most demanding conditions, creating an attractive and smooth finish.
These bolts are ideal for securing heavy gates and doors in both open and closed positions. They are suitable for domestic, equine, agricultural, and industrial areas, in exterior and interior applications.
The drop depth can be adjusted by placing the top holding plate higher or lower on the gate, making them ideal for doors and gates with a large base gap. They can be installed vertically or horizontally and are supplied with a floor sleeve, as well as a square receiving plate.
We suggest laying the gate or door flat when installing the bolt; this makes it considerably easier to align each retaining plate, especially on the 600mm length. Quality PZ galvanised screws are supplied.
We recommend using an extra-long receiving socket when installing a pair of gates with two bolts (see below). Alternatively, you can view our closing sets for gates. The long receiving socket can also be utilised with a single bolt.
