The ground bolts feature a black polymer coating on galvanised steel for enhanced corrosion resistance, and the closing hinge has a standard black polymer coating.

Compatible with all our Midsummer English gates or similar gates with a thickness of 70mm.

This fastener set is for a pair of gates and includes a 450mm long gate loop with a handle and staple for a padlock, two 450mm adjustable drop or ground bolts and all the necessary fixings for easy installation. It is ideal for securing English gates at driveways or field entrances.

The closing loop and drop bolt keep the gates securely closed. To operate, lift the closing loop to open one gate while keeping the other stationary, then lift the bolt to open the second gate.

An advantage to having two drop bolts is that they allow both gates to be held open simultaneously. Additionally, if both drop bolts are regularly secured in their ground sleeves, they can help prevent the gates from twisting.

The item can be secured with a padlock for added security and to prevent unauthorised access.

When using two drop bolts, we recommend using an extra-long, 350mm receiver socket. The receiver socket is exceptionally robust and easy to clean, keeping it free of debris. It has two strong legs to position and set into a concrete mix. It is supplied with a galvanised finish only.
