This automatic gate latch is easy to install with the fixings supplied and features a black polymer finish for corrosion resistance. The latch automatically engages to secure the gate shut. It is suitable for general use on interior and exterior gates and doors, and can be padlocked for security.
This latch has many uses, including gates, doors, and chicken houses. It is also ideal for securing your garden or yard.
Can be operated from both sides by simply adding a cord or wire attached to the pre-drilled hole in the latch arm and fed through the post or frame. Pull the cord or wire to release the latch (see diagram).
It is also available in a "hot dip" galvanised and zinc-plated finish.
