Compatible with all our Midsummer gates or similar gates with a thickness of 70mm.
This fastener set is for a pair of gates and includes a 350mm long gate loop, two 450mm adjustable drop or ground bolts and all the necessary fixings for easy installation. It is ideal for securing English gates at driveways or field entrances.
The closing loop and drop bolt keep the gates securely closed. To operate, lift the closing loop to open one gate while keeping the other stationary, then lift the bolt to open the second gate.
An advantage to having two drop bolts is that they allow both gates to be held open simultaneously. Additionally, if both drop bolts are regularly secured in their ground sleeves, they can help prevent the gates from twisting.
When using two drop bolts, we recommend using an extra-long, 350mm concrete in the receiver socket.
"Hot-dip" galvanized for high corrosion resistance.
