This adjustable hinge set enables the gate to be raised and lowered during installation, which is especially helpful when hanging a pair of gates. Adjustments can also be made in the future in case of gate sag.

We recommend using a 19mm security collar or anti-theft bracket to prevent unwanted gate removal.

• Installing the hooks on the face or rear of the post will enable the gate to open towards the operator or away from the operator. If there are no obstructions and the ground level permits, the gate can swing open a full 180°. This is the same for single or double gates.
• For gates to open towards the operator and away "open both ways," hooks are installed on the inside face of the post. The gate will open approximately 110°, but this will depend on the depth of the post. This is the same for single or double gates.
• When installing, you must drill a 20mm hole through the top of the post for the top hook and a 20mm pilot hole for the base hook to drive into the post. You will also need a 10mm drill bit to fit the strap hinge to the top of the gate. Additionally, a 20mm hole needs to be drilled through the bottom of the stile for the adjusting eye to fit the bottom hinge assembly.
