PREMIUM QUALITY BLACK: This ground bolt is made from solid steel and features a double coating, with a galvanised base, followed by a black polymer layer. This combination provides exceptionally high corrosion resistance in even the most demanding environments.
These bolts are ideal for securing heavy gates and doors in both open and closed positions. They are suitable for domestic, equine, agricultural, and industrial areas, in exterior and interior applications.
The drop depth can be adjusted by placing the top holding plate higher or lower on the gate, making them ideal for doors and gates with a large base gap. They can be installed vertically or horizontally and are supplied with a floor sleeve, as well as a square receiving plate.
We suggest laying the gate or door flat when installing the bolt; this makes it considerably easier to align each retaining plate. Quality PZ black screws are supplied.
We recommend using an extra-long receiving socket when installing a pair of gates with two bolts (see below). Alternatively, you can view our closing sets for gates. The long receiving socket can also be utilised with a single bolt.
