Multi-adjustable Hinge Set

This versatile adjustable hinge set allows the installer to raise or lower the gate(s) during installation and to adjust them laterally relative to the post and vertically when hanging on the face or rear of a post. This is especially useful when hanging a pair of gates. When hung from the face of the post, these hooks-to-bolts can be set to allow the gate to rise slightly from rising ground. Adjustments can also be made in the future if any gate sagging occurs.

We recommend using

a 19mm security collar or anti-theft bracket to prevent unwanted gate removal

Bolts are 325mm long

and 19mm in diameter, compatible with all our gate posts.

When installing hooks on the face or rear of the post to hang the gate,

if there are no obstructions, the gate can swing open a full 180°. This applies to both single- and double-gate installations. When hung this way, vertical adjustment with the lower eye bolt is possible, and lateral adjustments to the post can be made using the hooks on bolts that pass through the post.

We recommend this as the best option for hanging a pair of gates, as it allows for multiple adjustments.

To allow the gates to open in both directions

(towards the operator and outwards), hooks are installed on the inside face of the post, thus suspending the gate or gates between the posts. The gate opening angle is approximately 110°, depending on the post size. This applies to both single and double-gate installations. When hung this way, only vertical adjustments of the gate s are are possible. This is achieved with the upper or lower bolt on the posts, or with the adjustable eye bolt at the base of the gate.
